A renovation is underway at 4326 North Lincoln Avenue in North Center, with plans to modernize the existing mixed-use building at the address. The project, which has a budget of around $200,000, will encompass comprehensive interior updates to the property, including the introduction of new electrical systems, along with updated plumbing, air conditioning, and ductwork.
The renovation plan includes not only the refurbishment of interior partition walls but also the addition of new amenities such as a rooftop deck and a stairway access enclosure. The work is aimed at revitalizing the ground floor retail space and two dwelling units above.
Kristen Kollias, a Chicago-based architect, is overseeing the architectural design of the renovation. The overall project is being led by owner Theresa Culver.
4326 North Lincoln Avenue is located steps from stops for the 78 bus line. Beyond that, it is a short walk from the Montrose CTA Station, which services the Brown Line.
