A renovation project is underway at 3807 N Whipple Street in Irving Park. The project, which was approved on January 3, has an estimated budget of $90,000 and focuses on the expansion and alteration of the existing multi-family residence at the address.

The primary objective of the project is to transform the building’s lower level to create a third dwelling unit, adding to the existing two-units offered. To do so, the the existing basement concrete slab will be lowered to allow for the addition of a front entry. In addition, the project will involve relocating furnaces and water heaters from the rear enclosed porch.

Mohammed Aburmishan, based in Elgin, Illinois, owns the property and is overseeing the renovation process. Walter Dohrmann is responsible for the architectural design and structural planning of the renovation. MDL Construction Corp is managing the overall construction process.
