Leasing has started for six new penthouses at The Belden-Stratford, a 16-story Beaux-Arts apartment building in Lincoln Park, following a recent full-building renovation. Located at 2300 N Lincoln Park West, the property overlooks the Lincoln Park Zoo and Conservatory. The building, constructed in 1923, is on the National Register of Historic Places and now offers 209 rental units. Monthly rents vary from $2,500 to $15,000, with penthouse prices starting at $7,250.

The penthouses are located on the 15th floor and offer varied floor plans. These include two one-bedroom options with one or 1½ bathrooms, a two-bedroom, two-bathroom layout, and two units featuring two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a den. Architectural features such as double-height windows and up to 17 feet ceilings are present in the units.

Interior amenities in the penthouses include island kitchens with GE Profile stainless steel appliances and quartz countertops, custom closets, and in-unit washers and dryers. The building’s renovation preserved original lobby details like gilded plaster molding and gold-leaf detailing. New amenities such as a fitness center, media lounge, wine-tasting room, and conference spaces have also been added.
Resident services include 24/7 valet parking, a concierge, a door attendant, package delivery, and on-site Tesla rentals. A rooftop deck is available for resident use, and the building offers a direct connection to Mon Ami Gabi, a French restaurant, and other dining options in the neighborhood.
The historic structure is the property of Mansueto Office, Inc., with Waterton overseeing its management. The recent refurbishment and updates were carried out under the architectural guidance of Solomon Cordwell Buenz. Vinci Hamp Architects, Inc. is recognized as the historic architect, while Bulley & Andrews took on the role of the primary contractor during its revamp.
