A construction permit has been granted for a new mixed-use development at 3545 W Belmont Avenue in Avondale. The proposed four-story structure will feature commercial space on the ground floor and four residential units across the second to fourth floors. This development will replace what is currently a vacant lot, with front balconies, a basement, trash enclosure, and a rear two-vehicle garage included in the plans. The project is owned by Kazimierz Dojka.
Structural engineer Michael S. Cox will oversee the architectural design of the project. No specific renderings or drawings of the design could be found online.
Closest transit includes bus service for Route 77 via less than a minute walk west to Belmont & Central Park, while Route 56 is a six-minute walk south to Milwaukee & Central Park. Additional bus service for Route 82, along with the Blue Line at Belmont station via a five-minute walk east.
Eirpol LLC is the designated general contractor for the construction, with a reported total cost of $900,000. At this time, an estimated completion date for the development has not been announced.
