A construction permit has been issued to assemble a pre-manufactured greenhouse at DePaul College Prep‘s campus address of 3300 N Campbell Avenue in Roscoe Village. Filer under the DePaul College Prep Foundation, the project has enlisted Renault D Mitchell as the architect, whose details around the greenhouse design have yet to be specified.
The permit did not mention adding any new spaces to the campus property for parking. The site, however, offers accessibility to bus transit within close walking distance, with stops for Routes 49, X49, and 152, all within a five-minute walk. The closest CTA Brown
Bulley & Andrews LLC is the general contractor for the project. Despite the lack of an announced completion date, the pre-manufactured nature of the $200,000 structure could expedite the construction process.
