A construction permit has been granted for a new three-story residential project at 1232 S Fairfield Avenue in the Douglass Park neighborhood. The new multifamily building will feature a three-story masonry building with three dwelling units and a rear stair, replacing a previously vacant grass parcel. The listed owner of the project is East Douglas Partners LLC.
The architect for the project is Peter Sterniuk, whose design will have a masonry exterior according to the submitted filing. The issued permit also indicates a rear parking pad with space for three vehicles.
Transit accessibility for the development includes nearby bus service for Routes 12 and 94, both of which offer stops within a two-minute walk of the site. The closest L trains can be found for the Pink Line at California station via a 16-minute walk south.
As of yet, an exact timeline for the construction process is still unknown. The general contractor for the project is Fargo Group LLC, while the reported construction cost is $300,000.
