A permit was issued this week for a two-story residential building with a frame slab at 5355 S Lockwood Avenue in the Garfield Ridge neighborhood. The proposed project’s owner is listed as Chi Partners LLC Lockwood Laramie Series. The scope of the project details 16 total dwelling units. Plans indicate the presence of five-foot-tall wooden fence, a trash enclosure, and a 24-vehicle parking pad at the rear of the building site. The lot is currently vacant.
Stern Group Architects LLC is listed as the architects of record for the proposed project. No drawings or renderings have been disclosed at this time, however, a masonry exterior is anticipated given the masonry contractors listed in the plans.
The nearest bus available is Route 62 and it can be found at the Archer & Lockwood stop via a three-minute walk north. There are a number of grocery and dining options available within a five-minute walk.
Andy and Sons Constructions will act as the general contractor for the $640,000 construction. A full timeline and an anticipated completion date have not yet been revealed.
