A permit was approved last week for a new three-story residential building to be located at 2724 N Wayne Avenue in the Lincoln Park neighborhood. The owner is listed as Kazimierz Bachula and plans indicate this project will yield three total units, each with a balcony, and also a basement level and a rooftop deck with an access stair. Additionally, a detached three-car garage with a second rooftop deck will be on site. The yard will have a rear wood fence. The development will replace a previous structure on the site.
Christopher G Boehm is listed as the architect of record. No drawings or renderings have yet been disclosed, though the filing description has indicated a masonry exterior.
The closest bus service available is Route 76 and can be found at Diversey & Lakewood via a three-minute walk northeast. The CTA Brown and Purple Lines can be accessed at the Diversey station which is a 10-minute walk east.
There is an abundance of retail and dining options in the vicinity, many of which are located within walking distance west of N Lincoln Avenue.
Bachula Development Inc will act as the general contractor for the $778,350 construction. A full timeline and an anticipated completion date have not yet been revealed.
