A three-unit residential building at 4928 North Damen Avenue in Ravenswood is topped out, bricked up, and close to exterior completion. Many of the windows have been installed on the south side of the structure, but sliding glass doors and windows at the front are not yet in place. Around back, windows only appear on the second floor, with ground-level and the third floor yet to be installed. None of the glass is in place for the basement level of the three-story building.

Large openings at the front of the homes facing Damen Avenue will lead to outdoor terraces, per the permit issued on December 22 of last year. Additional outdoor space will be provided via a roof deck with a stair enclosure atop the building. Doorways in the rear on all three levels will lead to a back stairway. Still to come is a three-car garage with a rooftop deck of its own at the back of the property, which will be erected once the crew from developer and general contractor Profus Construction no longer needs unabated access to the residential structure. The units are likely to be offered as for-sale condos once completed.

4928 North Dame is located one block south of Winnemac Park and Amundsen High School. Residents will need walk no more than half a block to reach northbound and southbound stops for the #50 Damen bus, and two blocks for Route 81 buses along West Lawrence Avenue. The Damen Brown Line elevated platform is three blocks south near West Leland Avenue, and the Ravenswood Metra station and its UP-N trains are about half a mile away at Lawrence and Ravenswood Avenues.
