No parking is mentioned in the permit despite the presence of a garage currently on the lot, nor are there any details addressed in regards to the home’s specifications. Robe, INC of Norwood Park is the developer and general contractor, with Craft Architecture of Hammond, IN named as the architect of record. The subject parcel is near the corner of Elston and Major Avenues.
A single-story frame residence that sits back from Elston Avenue toward the rear of the lot was issued a demolition permit on August 5, along with its attached garage. Robe, INC is designated again as the contractor for the tear down. Real estate records indicate they purchased the home, built in 1908, for $179,000 in February of this year.
