The property at 843 South Miller Street in Little Italy has been permitted for a four-story, five-unit residential building. A previous home on the site was demolished last year, though there remains some foundation work to dig up. Song Development & Management is both the developer and the general contractor for the project, with a reported construction cost of $600,000.

The new construction permit was issued on March 7, with an application date of December 24, 2024. The only details noted are stairs at the rear of the building, and a pair of surface parking spaces accessed from the alley at the rear of the lot. There was no garage included with the previous home, which received a demolition permit on March 1 of last year. Real estate records show the home was built in 1888, and was purchased by Song Development in November 2023 for $500,000.
