A new construction permit has been issued for a three-story, three-unit residential building located at 4625 South Michigan Avenue in Bronzeville. The permit, which was issued on November 12, is currently active with fees due. It was self-certified by architect John Hanna.
The building will feature a rear deck with stairs at the 1st and 2nd stories and a detached three-vehicle garage. Construction is expected to cost $863,400.
As of the permit issuance date, $375 in fees have been paid, with an outstanding balance of $4,428 in building, zoning, and other fees. When complete, the property will be a short walk from stops for the Red and Green Lines.
