A construction permit has been issued for a proposed 3-story, 2-unit residence at 2034 North Racine Avenue in Lincoln Park. The permit is currently active but with fees due. The project will include a rear raised patio, 2nd and 3rd floor rear porches, 3-story rear stairs, and a 2-car garage with a roof deck.
The permit was issued on September 26, resulting in a processing time of 118 days. The total fee for the project is $4,880, with $3,000 paid so far ($2,850 building fee, $150 zoning fee) and $1,880 unpaid in other fees.
Plans were designed by architect Prashanth Mahakali. Construction is being led by owner Racine View LLC. The reported cost of the project is $350,000.
