The City of Chicago has issued a permit for the construction of a new 12-unit residential building at 2839 West 24th Boulevard in Little Village. The permit, which was applied for on May 6 and issued on September 13, allows for the construction of a 3-story building with a basement.
The new building will feature 12 residential units, including 3 ground-floor ADA units. The plans also include west side and rear 3-story stairs, 5-foot front iron fences, 5-foot side wood fences, and a 5-space parking pad with 1 ADA space.
The permit fees for the project total $20,592.24, which includes $12,405.24 in building fees, $675 in zoning fees, and $7,512 in other fees. The reported cost of the project is $1,200,000.
The owner of the property is listed as 2863 Buyers Group LLC. The architect for the project is Andrew Wang. When complete, the property will be a short walk from CTA Stations servicing the Pink Line.

  1. I’m happy to see the ADA units. It’s an underappreciated need. It’s an oddly shaped lot. I’d be curious about the site plan.
