Legal Tender Ciaccio Holdings LLC has been granted a permit for the construction of a new three-story residential masonry building at 1612 West Hastings Street in Illinois Medical District. The permit, issued on August 22, comes after a 93-day self-certification process that began with the application submission on May 21.
The new building will contain a total of six dwelling units. The permit fees for this project total $12,845.64, with $7,130.64 paid for building fees, $75.00 for zoning fees, and $5,640.00 in other fees. The reported cost of construction is estimated at $1,200,000.00.
Bill Kokalias is the architect for the project. When complete, the property will be a short walk from CTA Stations servicing the Pink Line.
