The City of Chicago has issued a permit for the construction of a new four-story mixed-use building with a basement at 1162 North Milwaukee Avenue in West Town. The permit, which was applied for on October 6, 2020, and issued on June 28, 2024, includes 14 residential units and one commercial unit.
The total cost of the project is estimated at $1,500,000, with permit fees totaling $10,688.50. This includes a building fee of $6,187.50, a zoning fee of $545, and other fees amounting to $3,956. All fees have been paid in full.
The owner of the property is WPA 13 LLC, located in Chicago. Architect Brian Milbury designed project plans. When complete, the property will be located a short walk from the Division CTA Station, which services the Blue Line.
