A permit has been issued for the construction of a new three-story residential building at 863 North Wood Street In East Village. The development is being led by 863 N Wood LLC. They are working with local architect Helen Liptak.
The building plans to feature three dwelling units, a first-floor rear deck, front balconies on the second and third floors, and a private roof deck with roof access. The project will also include a detached three-car garage with its own roof deck.
The project has a reported cost of $638,400, and the permit fees total $5,677. When complete, it will be steps from the 9 and 66 bus lines, and a 14 minute walk from the Division CTA Station, which services the Blue Line.

Honestly surprised. The lady that lives there is a huge NIMBY that plastered anti-bike lane posters all over the neighborhood. I can’t see her selling for something like that.
