A new development is underway at 6216 South Woodlawn Avenue in Woodlawn, marking a notable investment in the local housing market with a budget of approximately $1,286,000. The project, which is being spearheaded by owner Bill Williams, plans to introduce a modern three-story townhouse that will boast six dwelling units and twelve parking stalls.

The property has been designed by Chicago-based architect Mark Peters. General construction will be led by KMW Communities LLC of Chicago, working alongside masonry contractors Emerald Concrete & Brick and Five Star Masonry Inc, both also based in Chicago.

When complete, this new project at 6216 South Woodlawn Avenue will be located steps from bus service for Route 63. Beyond that, it will be a short walk from the 63rd Street Metra Station, which services the South Short Line Train, and the Cottage Grove CTA Station, which services the Green Line.
