Knight Investments LLC was recently granted a permit to construct a two-story, three-dwelling unit building with a basement at 2712 West 24th Place in Marshall Square. The building will feature front stairs, a rear two-story porch with stairs, and a three-vehicle parking pad in the rear. The permit was issued on April 23, after a processing time of 243 days.
The project was designed by local architect Peter Sterniuk. Permit fees totaled $4,253, consisting of a $2,300 building fee, $75 zoning fee, and $1,878 in other fees. The reported construction cost is $350,000.
When complete, 2712 West 24th Place will be located a short walk from bus service for Route 94. Beyond that, the California CTA Station, which services the Pink Line, will be a 12-minute walk to the north of the property.
