A construction and renovation project has been approved at 4318 S Dr Martin Luther King Jr Drive in Grand Boulevard, which is a three-story, six-unit residence. The $50,000 project, which was approved on February 2, seeks to modernize the building with much-needed additions.
The renovation was planned by architect Luis Martinez. It includes the addition of a three-story rear deck and stairs, along with Juliet balconies on the second and third floors at the front of the building. Internally, the residence will undergo renovations aimed at updating the units.
IWD Development Corp is serving as the general contractor for the project. Victor Cuebas Sr is overseeing the project’s permit expediting process.
4318 S Dr Martin Luther King Jr Drive is located steps from bus service for Routes 3 and 43. It is also steps from the 43rd CTA Station, which services the Green Line.
