The City of Chicago has issued permits for a new construction project at 2305 S Marshall Boulevard In Marshall Square. Spearheaded by owner Omar Ibarra, the project has a budget of $1.2 million.
Designed by architect Hemal Purohit, the three-story building will feature a masonry and frame construction, and will contain three dwelling units. It will offer residents a rear rooftop deck complete with a stairway enclosure, a high frame pergola, and a trellis. Plans also include three new unenclosed off-street parking spaces, each measuring 8 feet wide by 18 feet long.
ANKA Builders & Construction is the general contractor on the project. They will work alongside Aberdeen Construction SVC Inc, the masonry contractor for the project.
When complete, 2305 S Marshall Boulevard will be located a short walk from stops for the 21 and 94 bus lines. Beyond that, the California CTA Station, which services the Pink Line, will be located an 11 minute walk to the north of the property.
