The City of Chicago has issued permits for a new project at 2019 South Throop Street in Pilsen. The project, which has a budget of $550,000, was approved on January 16, and will involve the construction of a three-story residential building with a basement and roof deck above the third floor.
Developed by 2019 Throop LLC and executed by Lukaven Development LLC as the general contractor, the building is set to feature three residential units. Plans also include a new three-vehicle concrete parking pad. The architectural design for the will be led by Samuel Pavlovčík, and City of Chicago Masonry Inc is handling masonry work.
When complete, 2019 South Throop Street will be located steps from bus service for Routes 21 and 60. Beyond that, the 18th Street CTA station, which services the Pink Line, will be a 16-minute walk to the northwest of the property.
