A renovation project has begun for a four-story residential building located at 634 W Oakdale Avenue in Lakeview East. The project, which was approved on January 4, has a budget of approximately $5,000,000.
This renovation project plans for comprehensive interior alterations and repairs from fire damage for the four-unit building. The designs for the renovation are being handled by Marc Anderson, an architect based in Chicago. Construction System Inc is overseeing the entire renovation. The masonry work is being handled by Schlaeger Construction Co.
634 W Oakdale Avenue is located steps from bus stops for Routes 22 and 36, with stops for Routes 8 and 76 via a slightly farther walk from the property. Beyond that, the Wellington CTA station, which services the Brown Line and the Purple Line, is a nine-minute walk to the east of the property.
