A renovation project has been approved at 428 W Belden Avenue in Lincoln Park, led by Belden Building II LLC. The project, which was submitted on July 21, was approved on December 22. The estimated budget for the renovation is $1,750,000.
The project outlines plans for an extensive interior rehabilitation with mechanical, electrical, and plumbing work planned for the 4-story masonry building, which houses 24 dwelling units. Notably, in addition to standard rehabilitation work, three of the building’s existing first-floor dwelling units are planned to be duplexed with the basement of the property.
Andrew Wang is the lead architect for this project. Electrical work has been entrusted to D.C.L. Electric. ACF Maintenance and Remodeling will be the general contractor for the project.
428 W Belden Avenue is located centrally in Lincoln Park, and is steps from bus service for Routes 22 and 36. It is a 15-minute walk to the west away from the Fullerton CTA station, which services the Brown, Purple, and Red Lines.
