Construction permits have been issued for a new residential building at 1503 W Walton Street in Noble Square. Proposed on April 13, construction permits were issued on December 19, after a 250 day review period.
The self-certified project has a reported budget of $1,007,150. It is planned to be a three-story building with two dwelling units and a basement. Each of the three stories are planned to feature a front balcony. Additionally, the rear of the building will include a deck with stairs at each level. The property will also offer a detached three-vehicle garage, which will include a rooftop deck.
Architect John Hanna is responsible for the design of the building. DV Development LLC will serve as the general contractor.
1503 W Walton Street is located steps from bus service for Route 9 and a six-minute walk to the northeast from stops for Route 56. Beyond that, the Division Street CTA station, which services the Blue Line, is a 10-minute walk north of the property.
