The project will see the building’s unit count increase from 36 to 39 dwelling units. This renovation involves converting three office spaces on the second floor into new apartments. The building, fully sprinklered, will undergo this change in accordance with detailed plans and is subject to certified corrections, field inspections, and audits.
The project will be managed by 180 W Adams LLC, with Jorge Fajardo as the architect assigned to the project. The conversion represents a shift in the building’s use, catering to the increasing demand for residential accommodations in the area. Timberwolf General Contracting will oversee the general renovation process.
Expedited by Papa CTO Consulting, the renovation has a budget of $300,000, with permit fees totaling $2,614. The building is located steps from bus stops for Routes 1, 7, 28, 37, 126, 134, and 151. Additionally, the Quincy CTA station, which is located a block from the property, services the Brown, Orange, Pink, and Purple lines.

I completely agree! Very encouraging.
The surprising part to me was that there were already 36 units in this building. I’m not sure when they did it…but not along the view from the street made it look like it was just used to store files. It looked so dusty I sneezed every time I walked by.
