A construction permit has been issued for a new construction storage building located at 10062 S Ewing Avenue in East Side. The planned facility, under development by Victor Harmon will replace a vacant lot.
The design of the building has been undertaken by Thomas B. Michael as the architect of record, though specific design details, such as renderings or drawings, are currently unavailable. Based on the permit filing, the project will include a five-foot-tall iron fence and a two-space parking pad with an attached driveway.
The property is just a block south of the I-90 expressway, and less than a three-minute drive from the Indiana border. The property is also connected to Chicago’s transit system via bus service for Routes 26 and 30 at the adjacent intersection of Ewing & 101st Street.
Celtic Development Ltd will be serving as the general contractor for the project, though no finalized completion has ben revealed.
