A construction permit has been issued for a new residential building at 3541 N Fremont Street in Lake View East. Set to replace a two-story brick residence, this four-story structure will house three dwelling units and will include a basement and a rooftop deck.
The property, owned by Kenmore Estates, LLC, has been designed by Michael S. Cox. While the submitted plans detail a masonry construction, no specific renderings or drawings have been made available. There will also be a three-car detached garage with a separate rooftop deck.
Transit options around the area are numerous. Bus service for Routes 8, 22, 36, and 152 are all within walking distance, while the Red Line’s Addison Station is a three-minute walk west.
The reported cost of the development is pegged at $1,200,000. Ronan Construction LLC has been named as the general contractor for this project. Currently, an exact timetable for the construction is unknown.
