A renovation permit has been granted for an existing multi-unit residential building at 1526 S Central Park Avenue in Lawndale. The work, to be executed within two of the dwelling units, encompasses interior upgrades, specifically within the kitchen and baths.
As noted in the filing, new plumbing, electrical, and mechanical components will be integrated. The project scope also includes replacing the wood deck and stairs at the rear. The building is not set for a change in its use or occupancy, with the filing retaining the R-5 multi-unit residence categorization.
Nomadic Holdings LLC owns the property. The architectural responsibilities for the renovation have been entrusted to Gary Wands. As for the design specifics, interior renovations predominantly focus on modernizing essential spaces within the dwelling units.
SRGIG LLC will lead the renovations as general contractor. The estimated cost of the work, as noted in the permit, stands at $150,000. An anticipated completion timeline has not been indicated.
