A construction permit has been granted for a retail project at 4656 S Cicero Avenue in the LeClaire Courts neighborhood. Ampler Development LLC owns the planned single-story restaurant featuring a drive-thru.

Additional project elements include an outdoor patio, bicycle parking, and waste management facilities, as noted in the filing. The new work will replace a former single-story retail structure.

The project’s architect is Mario R Valentini of MRV Architects, though current blueprints and renderings still need to be available.

The layout includes a car park designed to accommodate five spaces. The location also offers access to public transportation via the 47, 54B, and 390 bus routes, all within a two-minute walk.

Global Development and Construction oversees the construction as the project’s general contractor. The development comes with a reported price tag of $875,000. The construction permit was approved on July 14, though an estimated completion date for the project has yet to be announced.

  1. Do we know if this will be a drivethru or not?

  2. Cicero Ave doesn’t run through South Lawndale.
