A construction permit has been issued for a new residential development located at 6317 S Rhodes Avenue in West Woodlawn. The project is set to feature a two-story building with two dwelling units, complete with a basement and a detached two-vehicle garage. The site was previously home to a vacant grass lot, of which Champlain Rhodes, LLC is listed as the owner and developer.

John C Hanna of Hanna Architects is the listed as the architect of record. As of now, neither blueprints nor renderings have been made available for the new building and garage.

In terms of transit, the site is within a five-minute walk from King Drive Station, which offers service for the CTA Green Line. Closest bus service for Route 63, meanwhile, is just one block north. Other bus lines include Route 59 further to the north, Route 4 to the east, Routes 5, 67, and 95 to the south, and Route 3 to the west.

The listed general contractor for the project is Greenline Homes, LLC. The reported construction cost for the development is $432,300. An estimated completion date for the project has not been provided.
