A construction permit has been granted for a new residential development located at 4603 S St. Lawrence Avenue in the Bronzeville neighborhood. The project will feature a four-story, three-unit masonry building, replacing a grass lot. The listed owner of the project is St. Lawrence Properties LLC.
The architect of for the project is Charles E. Schwartz, with features such as an open rear steel decks and egress stair at the second and third floors, and a concrete patio. Topping the building will be a private rooftop deck with a stair enclosure and a over the west half.
The filing has indicated a three-car frame garage at the rear of the property. Transit accessibility includes nearby bus service for Route 47, which is a three-minute walk south to the intersection of 47th & St. Lawrence. CTA L service can be found for the Green Line via 47th station, a 10-minute walk southwest.
The general contractor for the project is APMW Developer Corporation. An anticipated completion date for the $380,000 construction has not been announced.
