Construction is nearing full height for a 19-story mixed-use building at 210 N Aberdeen Street in Fulton Market. Developed by LG Development Group, this structure will feature 10,700 square feet of retail space and 363 apartment units.
The building will provide various housing options, including 73 affordable studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom units. Furthermore, it will feature a range of indoor and outdoor amenity spaces, including 102 vehicular parking spaces and bike parking.
The new building, designed by NORR, boasts a modern design characterized by two perpendicular wings atop a three-story podium. The facade is composed of tan masonry cladding, while a glass and metal curtain wall wraparound the outer corners of each wing. Moreover, LG Development will restore the Arthur Harris Building, adjacent to the new construction, forming part of the retail component.
The area surrounding the building is serviced by a variety of bus routes, making it convenient to travel around the city. Those seeking access to the closest CTA Green and Pink Line service can do so at Morgan station via a three-minute walk east.
Power Construction is serving as general contractor for the $140 million project, which is expected to fully complete by 2024.

This one seems to have gone up fast
This definitely one of the fastest-rising major projects we’ve covered
Love to see it
This went up so fast, wow! I wonder if LG will start on 1150 W Lake soon, once the north lot is no longer as a staging for this project
The rather unrealistic El rendering is kind of amusing 😛
