Final facade touches can be seen at 120 N Willard Court, a five-story residential building just south of the Randolph Street in West Loop. The development will replace a pre-Chicago Fire single-family residence, which received demolition permits last December. The project is set to yield seven total units and seven parking spaces.
PLD Custom Homes is the developer for this location, which was formerly a mid-nineteenth-century structure. The base of the new construction will provide seven housing units and a seven-vehicle parking garage.
With 360 Design Studio as the architect, the brick facade includes vertical ridges dividing columns of windows with dark metal accents. The three of the corners will also contain inset balconies that are still undergoing final floor paneling.
There will be a variety of public transportation options accessible within a 10-minute walk of the property, including Divvy bike stations, bus transit for Routes 8, 9, X9, and 20, as well as Green and Pink Line service.
Promised Land Development is serving as general contractor for approximately $2.8 million build. While no firm completion date could be found, work appears on track to complete near the end of this year.
