A permit was issued last week for a new three-story residential building located at 3019 N Clybourn Avenue in the North Center neighborhood. The owner is listed as Total Construction Service Inc. The new construction is slated as a three-dwelling masonry building with a basement and a rear open deck that connects across levels. Plans also indicate the presence of a detached three-vehicle garage with a finished roof deck.
Michael S Cox is listed as the architect of record. No drawings or renderings have yet been disclosed, though the filing description has indicated a masonry exterior.
The nearest transportation service is Route 50 at the intersection of Damen & Wellington via a six-minute walk east. There are a number of popular restaurants and retail options along both W Belmont and North Clybourn Avenues. Those looking to enjoy public green space will find it at Hamlin Park which is a five-minute walk east of the future property site.
Total Construction Service will also be serving as the general contractor on the $900,000 project. An anticipated completion date has not yet been announced.

Per streetview the building with the cross is 3021 and the greystone is 3017. I’m always curious how/why that happens and which one is facing the wrecking ball.
Clybourne in general is a very beat up street
