Permits were issued last week for a two-story residential building to be located at 6106 N Hermitage Avenue in Edgewater. The building’s permit owner has been listed as Miroslav Zivojnovic. The property site is currently occupied by a frame residence.

The permit lists Oscar Alba as the architect of record for the build. Plans indicate this will be a two-flat construction each outfitted with a front balcony and rear decking. There will be a two-vehicle parking pad and a two-vehicle garage behind the building. Though renderings have not been made public we do know that the proposed residence will feature masonry components.

Future residents can board CTA Route 22 at the Clark & Glenlake stop via a four-minute walk east. The CTA L Red Line can also be accessed via an 18-minute walk east to the Granville station. The future build is within a 10-minute walk of a number of popular Andersonville establishments along N Clark Street.

Vuk Builders Inc is serving as the general contractor for the $310,000 project. Given the recency of the filling, a full timeline has not yet been revealed.
