A demolition permit was issued yesterday for a two-story multi-unit building and an accompanying frame garage located at 3558 S Parnell Avenue in the Bridgeport neighborhood. The owner is listed as Joseph Skiba. At the time of this writing, no plans have been submitted to upgrade any of the zoning designations for this property and there are no pending permits for any future constructions.
Future constructions will provide access to a number of amenities including transportation. The closest bus service available is for Route 44, which can be found at the intersection of Wallace & 36th Street via a two-minute walk west. There are a number of popular businesses and eateries along nearby W 36th Street as well as ample green space available at McKeon (Joseph) Park.
Kasper Development LLC is serving as the demolition contractor on this project. There is no indication as to a timeline for any future constructions.
