A permit was approved this week for a six-unit residential building located at 4952 S Michigan Avenue in the Grand Boulevard neighborhood. The owner of this project is listed as Amy Chin. This building will house three dwelling units each with a rear open porch, and include an attached three-vehicle garage. Gary Wands is listed as the architect of record for this project. At this time, no renderings have been made public.
Transportation is readily accessible with the nearest bus service for Route 15 at the 51st Street & Wabash stop via a four-minute walk south of the property. The CTA Green Line can be found at the 51st Street station via a seven-minute walk east. There are also grocery and food options available along 51st street.
Allbright Construction LLC will act as the general contractor for the $450,000 construction. A full timeline and an anticipated completion date have not yet been revealed.
