A new construction permit was issued yesterday for a two-story office building at 1327 S Kilbourn Avenue in the North Lawndale neighborhood. United Scaffolding Inc, is listed as the permit owner and plans indicate this project will also include a pre-engineered metal warehouse as well as a metal canopy for a storage area. The project will replace a vacant lot. Natalie Regan is listed as the structural engineer of record for this project.

Transportation will be readily available with the nearest bus service available for Route 12 at the Roosevelt & Kilbourn stop via a four-minute walk north. There are many retail, dining, and social options located within walking distance along W Roosevelt Road and the neighboring side streets.
Amero Building Restoration will act as the general contractor for the $950,000 construction. A full timeline and an anticipated completion date have not yet been revealed.
