A demolition permit was issued yesterday to remove a former Kiln factory located at 10600 S Green Bay Avenue in the East Side neighborhood. The three-story structure borders the Calumet River. The permit’s owners have been listed as the Chicago Development LLC.

The lot is not readily accessible, however, the nearest transit options are Route 26 and Route 100 which can be found at the 106th Street & Avenue O east of the site. There are numerous restaurants and retail options along the 106th Street corridor.

American Demolition Corporation is serving as the demolition contractor on this project. At the time of publication, no plans have been submitted for any future developments.
