Full construction permits have been issued for a two-story residential building planned for 4853 W Nelson Street in Belmont Cragin. Owned by John Hanches, the project will comprise of two total units, a three-car concrete parking pad, and a finished basement that will house a second floor for the bottom unit. The new construction will replace a currently vacant grass lot.

Eduard Livanu is listed as the architect of record. No drawings or renderings have yet been revealed, and it is unknown if the design will be frame or masonry.

For bus transit, tenants will have access to north and southbound stops for Route 54 located at Cicero & Barry, a three-minute walk to the northeast. Meanwhile, residents will also find service for Route 77 via a five-minute walk north to the intersection of Belmont & Lamon. Slightly further to the south are stops for Route 76 at Diversey & Lamon. As for other public transportation options, no CTA L or Metra stations are available within a 20-minute walk.

As for nearby outdoor space, parks within a 20-minute walking radius consist of Kilbourn Park to the northeast and Kelvyn Park to the southeast.

BM UK Enterprise Company is serving as general contractor for the $400,000 project, whose anticipated completion date has not yet been revealed.
