Work on the western phase, the first of a two-phase development, is nearing completion at Peoria Green. The six-story condominium project is located at 123 S Peoria Street and 128 S Green Street in West Loop. Developed by ZSD Corporation, the structure will yield 17 units and sit directly across from the family-friendly Mary Bartelme Park. All the units in the western phase will contain five bedrooms, each comprising approximately 4,300 square feet. Meanwhile, the eastern phase will have three- and four-bedroom units at 3,100 to 5,500 square feet, ranging in price from $1.65 to $3.2 million.

Residences feature 10-foot-high ceiling spans, floor-to-ceiling windows, Archisesto Italian cabinetry, quartz countertops, and delineated office/family room spaces. Each residence will also come with either a balcony or larger private terrace space.

Designed by Sullivan Goulette & Wilson, the shape of the building is formed by connected dual rectangular massings, each wrapped in dark gray cladding and large loft-inspired windows.

Parking will include 28 on-site spaces, with an assortment of additional public transportation options in the area. North and southbound stops for Route 8 can be found roughly a three-minute walk northeast to Halsted & Monroe, while east and westbound stops for Route 20 are a three-minute walk north. Lastly, eastbound service for Route 126 lies a three-minute walk south to Jackson & Peoria, while its westbound service is one block further south at Van Buren & Peoria.

For CTA L access, residents will find the Blue Line’s UIC-Halsted station a seven-minute walk south. L service for the Green and Pink Lines is also in the area, located an 11-minute walk north to Morgan station.

Beyond Mary Bartelme Park, other points of interest include a wide range of shops and dining just one block east to Greektown and further north to both the Randolph and Fulton Market corridors.

Maris Construction is behind the $15 million development, with the first phase expected to open this spring. An occupancy date for the second phase has yet to be announced.
