Construction permits have been issued for a two-story residential building at 6154 S St. Lawrence Avenue in West Woodlawn. The owner, filed under 6154-6156 S St Lawrence, LLC, is planning two total units, a basement, and a detached two-car garage.
John Hanna of Hanna Architects is the architect of record. No renderings for the building have yet been revealed.

Currently, the site is occupied by a garden. Due to the lot’s larger area, it is unclear if the building will only replace a portion of the parcel.
Residents will have access to multiple bus routes nearby, including stops for Route 59 and 4, located a two-minute walk north to 61st Street & St. Lawrence. Meanwhile, access to Route 63 can be found a three-minute walk south at 61st Street & St. Lawrence. Lastly, nearest availability for Route 3 lies at King Drive & 62nd Street, a six-minute walk west.
For the CTA L, residents will find King Drive station with service for the Green Line, an eight-minute walk southwest.
The 366-acre Washington Park is also within walking distance, with its southern edge less than a four-minute walk north.
Greenline Homes, LLC is serving as the general contractor for the $265,400. A full timeline has not yet been announced.
