Construction permits have been issued for a three-story mixed-use building at 6246 N Pulaski Road in Sauganash. Planned by Valentino Caushi of Apex Construction Group, the project will come with eight residential units, two ground-floor offices, terraces and balconies and indoor parking for either five or six vehicles.
Designed by Steve Besch of Besch Design Ltd, the building’s renderings have not yet been revealed. However, multiple masonry contractors indicate a likely brick or stone facade.
As far as transit proximity, the nearest CTA bus access can be found via an eight-minute walk south to Pulaski & Peterson Terminal, serviced by the north/southbound 53 Bus. Further access can be found a 12-minute walk northeast to the northwest/southeast-bound 210 Bus at the Lincoln/Hamlin stop, as well the east/westbound Bus 84 located a 14-minute walk southwest to the 4300 W Peterson stop.
For outdoor space nearby, the 46-acre North Park Village Nature Center can be found via a 20-minute walk south.
Apex Construction will also serve as the general contractor for the $975,000 development. An expected completion date has not yet been announced.
