Demolition permits have been issued for a two-story frame residential building and a detached frame garage. Located near the eastern end of West Town, the multi-unit structure is owned by Sustainabuild LLC.

It is unclear what Sustainabuild is planning to replace the structure. However, the lot is zoned under RM-4.5, which means that a higher density residential building can be built. RM-4.5 allows for a maximum residential building height of 47 feet, or 45 feet if the front is closer to the street with a floor-area-ratio of 1.7, meaning that the square footage can be up to 1.7 times the area of the parcel.

The nearest CTA bus access includes the east and westbound Route 66, which is located a two-minute walk north to Chicago & Noble. Meanwhile, the east and westbound Route 65 is a five-minute walk south to Grand & Noble, while the north and southbound Routes 9 and X9 can be found a seven-minute walk northwest to Ashland & Chicago. Lastly, the northeast and southeast-bound 56 is a 10-minute walk northeast to Milwaukee & Chicago.

Also at this three-point intersection of Milwaukee, Chicago, & Ogden is the Chicago station for the CTA L Blue Line. Nearest access for the Green and Pink Lines consists of Ashland station, located a 19-minute walk southwest.

Megalan Corporation is serving as the wrecking contractor. The timeline for both the demo and any replacing structure is not yet known.
