A pair of permits have been issued by the City of Chicago to erect three-flat residential buildings at 3330 and 3332 West Walnut Street in East Garfield Park. The permits each have application start dates of June 23, and both came through on August 10, a wait of 48 days in the data portal. Reported costs of $450,000 for each building are noted.

A local developer using separate LLCs for each building is cited as the property owner, with Angel Sida listed as the architect of record and ANM Mechanical Services as the general contractor. The three-story, three-unit structures will have three-story rear wood porches with six-foot wood fencing and five-foot wrought iron fencing enclosing the properties. Three EVSE-ready surface parking spaces will be provided for each building.

The subject parcels are currently vacant lots. They had been improved with a pair of two-story residential buildings, but those were permitted for demolition in the summer of 2012. Google images from 2011 show both boarded up and empty, as were the two homes on either side. Those two, however, have been renovated and appear to be occupied.
