The first of two two-flat residential buildings has been approved on a vacant portion of North Ridgeway Avenue in the Humboldt Park neighborhood. USA Roofing Supply is named as both the developer and general contractor, with Hanna Architects the designated architect of record. The permit calls for a two-story plus basement, two-unit building with a detached two-car garage. A rear deck on the first level is the only architectural detail mentioned.
A permit for 611 North Ridgeway with the same application start date of March 11 is still pending in the Chicago Data Portal. It calls for the same specifications as the first permit. The site has been vacant since two frame residences were demolished in 2013 and 2014. There is one more parcel available here, but there are no other permits pending.
