The construction site is a large vacant lot at the northwest corner of Indiana Avenue and 58th Street. The last structure on the site, the A.M.E. Zion Church at 128 East 58th Street, which the City of Chicago demolished in September of 2020. There are several empty parcels of land here, but no other permits are pending in the Chicago Data Portal for the site.

Residents of 5752 South Indiana will be within a three-block walk of CTA bus service via Route 3 to the east at King Drive, Route 29 to the west at State Street, and Route 55 to the north at Garfield Boulevard. The 55 bus can be used to connect with the Garfield Red Line L platform a little less than a mile northwest. A four-block walk south to 63rd Street leads to Route 63 bus stops, with the King Drive Green Line elevated platform located three blocks east of that stop.
