Alderman Martin reveals new name for 4715 North Lincoln: The Canvas at Leland Place

47th Ward Alderman Matt Martin announced Tuesday on Twitter that the new residential building at 4715 North Lincoln Avenue in Lincoln Square has a new name and website. Now known as The Canvas at Lincoln Place, the 63-unit affordable development from The Community Builders will begin accepting applications this Thursday, October 17th.

The new website features a plethora of interior renderings, as well as floor plans, amenities, and the 4-1-1 on the surrounding neighborhood.

“Opening Winter 2024, Canvas at Leland Plaza brings high quality, yet affordable living to the heart of vibrant Lincoln Square. Located steps from the Western CTA station and Lincoln Square’s renowned restaurants, shops and cultural institutions, Canvas offers easy access to neighborhood amenities and community events, like Apple Fest, the farmers market, and wine strolls. As the announcement states, The Canvas at Leland Place will open to its first residents late this year.

  1. Affordable… the City paid 20million to buy out of the parking meter deal. So spending 20m on the free dirt, leading to $800,000+ rental apartments. Politicians so happy to tout affordable, while wasting taxpayer money.
