A renovation/alteration permit has been issued for 1353 West 16th Street in Pilsen to address fire damage repairs at the existing two-story, three-dwelling unit apartment building at the address. The project, with an estimated cost of $150,000, was approved through the Standard Plan Review process.
The scope of work includes repairs to the electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems, as well as the construction of a new rear open frame porch. The repairs will be carried out in accordance with the 2019 Chicago Building Code.
The total permit fee is $925, which has been paid in full. The fee breakdown includes $850 for building fees and $75 for zoning fees. 1353 West 16th Street is located a short walk from CTA Stations servicing the Pink Line.
